Matthew Coatsworth (Co-founder/Producer)
Matt Coatsworth is a producer and former Assistant Director who began his career on set in Toronto, working with filmmakers including David Cronenberg, Len Wiseman, Michael Sucsy, and John Dowdle. After relocating to Los Angeles, he built and ran the Independent Film Department within United Talent Agency’s Production Crossover Group, overseeing dozens of features a year before leaving the agency to produce. He is now partnered with Alexander J. Farrell, focusing on bold, internationally driven genre films.
Kate Farrell (Head of Documentary)
Kate Farrell is the Head of Documentaries at Birdmouth. Formerly the founder of leading UK talent agency The MNT, she built and represented a diverse roster spanning reality talent, sport stars, broadcasters, presenters, podcasters, and cultural personalities, delivering high-profile campaigns and long-form storytelling across film, television, and digital platforms. At Birdmouth, Kate leads documentary development with a focus on bold, character-led non-fiction with genuine cultural impact.
